Take A Walk With Me

 Take a walk with me. Today as we were getting ready for church to start we realized that Bishop Davis and Mother Shepherd Davis had walked in.  In unison we stood to our feet and began to clap and worship God. It was pure joy to see them walk through the door. We have been praying for them. Bishops speech is back!! Mother Shepard is doing great as well. I kept looking over at her and tears steamed down my face when I saw her smile as she waved her hanky in the air. I love this woman of God so much. Your prayers made the difference. Then I got news that my mom had been released from the hospital- she had been admitted for Covid Pneumonia! I rejoiced today for what God has done. However, let me make this clear- God was worthy of my praise even if He had not healed these precious people. But, I am oh so glad that He did!! Take a walk with me. 

 Take a walk with me. How do you describe a man like Bro. David Doan? He was a missionary to Japan/Vietnam/Asia who dedicated his life to his calling. He was a loving husband. He was a loving father. He was a devoted friend. He cared about people. His sudden and unexpected passing due to a heart attack has left us all in shock. We know he is walking on streets of gold. We know he is talking with his Lord and Savior. It's the sudden deaths that seem to hurt the most. God is good and we trust His ways and His time. I ask you, who will walk in the shoes of Missionary David Doan? Who will pick up the mantle and share the gospel to Asia? Who will give their life, like he gave his?  In September 2019, I was able to catch up with him at General Conference. His passion for the lost was just as strong as it had ever been. He even was glad to write in RJ's Hero book. RJ has a book where he asks missionaries/preachers/evangelist to write something to him in it. I am so glad we have this t
