The Supplier The Multiplier

For the service today, Bro Jonathan Walker preached a sermon on "The Supplier The Multiplier" His main text came from Genesis 22:16-18. True to Bro Walkers form, he preached from the Old Testament to the New Testament to bring his sermon fully together. I did take notes. I strongly suggest you listen/view the sermon on your own. You can view it here. Before I do my best to share my notes, I want to first express my excitement over the fact that after two years of our Thursday night Bible study lesson being online, we are finally coming back in person. April 14th will be the first in person Bible Study at Bethel. There will be a new starting time and it will be 7:30pm.  I have always loved Thursday night Bible Studies and I am so happy we are coming back together again. If you want more information, it can be found in the Bethel App. Church today was wonderful. It was even more special because my good friend's The Prather's were sitting with me.  They were in town for Eleighna's Bridal Shower. Her mother and I go way back and she was one of my first friends here in NY, she was also there when RJ was born and the first to hold him. She has since moved away and it was just really nice to be with my friend again. Bro. Walker's sermon resonated within me today.  I grabbed ahold of it and plan to hold on tight to it in the days to come. In a world of chaos let us direct our attention back to the supplier and multiplier of our life, Jesus. We will have seasons where God sustains us. He will supply exactly what we  need. He proves himself to us during this time. When you trust and obey God during this season, a moment will come when all of a sudden He changes from the supplier to the  multiplier. The season you are in shifts and everything changes. God brings what seems to be impossible to pass. God does who God is. We take off our garments of disappointment and we put on the armor of praise.  God will send you a divine appointment even when it's something you are not wanting or expecting. When he does this, walk in it an obey it. The result to this is God stepping into your life and changes your season. You go from knowing Him as our supplier to knowing him as your multiplier.  In Ephesians 4:17-24 We read that we are called to be the light of the world. We can choose to walk in joy even while we are in the season of supply or wear garments of despair.  We are walking into a new season. It's time to put on the garment of praise. Walk in the joy of the Lord is your strength. As you do this, God will begin to multiply your life. Fear Not. Move forward into this new season God has for you. Even if it's not what you at first expect, obey and trust as you walk into your new season. God is good.
