Breakfast, Love and Prayers

It's been two years since Bethel has been able to hold their Ladies Breakfast. We had a very large gathering of ladies who joined today for a much-needed time together. There were many new faces mixed in with those who have been tried and true over the years. There was an abundance of food to choose from.  The tables were decorated beautifully. We had an outstanding balloon arrangement as a backdrop for taking pictures. Worship was led by two talented young ladies. Our two speakers were uplifting and challenging in their stories that they shared. The food was blessed by one of my favorite ladies who happens to be a pillar of our church. There was much laughter and love that could be felt throughout the entire breakfast. Towards the middle of the morning, right before the worship music started, our beloved Sis. Vickie Davis joined us. There was the sense of a wave of love that just swept through the building. Oh how we love our First Lady. I watched her with tears in my eyes as she waved her hands in the air and just worshiped.  Then, I saw her lift her hands straight, outstretched in the air and I knew she was praying for every lady in the building. She was going into war in the spirit. Her body might be weakened due to ALS, but her spirit is the strongest it as ever been. Her prayers sent angels to flight and the presence of God swept all over the building. Dear precious Bethel Ladies, you have been given the foundation of two Davis Woman who have poured themselves in prayer. I challenge you to dig in deep into the things of God. Strengthen your prayer life. Walk with God daily. Carry on this legacy that has been set as a sure foundation. Build upon it. May The Best That Is Yet To Come, begin to birth from with you. I am thankful for our beautiful church family. For the love we have one for one another. For the team of ladies that worked together in unity to pull together such a beautiful day today. His Grace and Mercy showed up today and walked amongst us. God is good.
