The Biblical Tetrahedron Of Faith

Before I share the amazing sermon by Bro. Marvin Walker preached today at Bethel, I want to express my appreciation for the music ministry.  It's clear when those leading in worship are plugged in and moving in the spirit or when they are not.  Bethel has been blessed with an amazing worship/music team. I don't take it for granted. Today in particular was phenomenal.  Each and every song was in tune with what Bro. Walker was going to preach.  Their focused worship set an atmosphere for miracles to take place before the preaching even started. They paved the way for hearts to be good ground for the preached word to fall upon. Bro. Marvin Walker is special to RJ. He was the guest speaker the service that he received the infilling of the Spirit of God. As I most always suggest, watch the service for yourself. I pray it blesses you as you listen to the worship and The Word that was put forth. You can do so here.  Bro. Walker preached on "The Biblical Tetrahedron Of Faith". The main text used was Hebrews 11: 1-6.  Bro. Walker had a visual of a Tetrahedron, which is like a pyramid. On one side you saw the word Miraculous, another side, Hope and on the other Love.  I will do my best share what stood out to me. Please take the time to watch/listen and be blessed by it. Hebrews 11 is known as the faith chapter. We read that for now we see with a glass darkly, but we will see clearly when we see Jesus face to face. Faith, Hope and Love abound, but the greatest of them is love. God is building a dimension of faith into and in motion in us to complete our faith. Faith is connected to the miraculous. He then gave many examples of miracles that took place in the Bible. He talked about Moses, Elijah and Elisha. The Biblical miracles we read about still happen today. From here, Bro. Walker began to share story after story of miracles that God did through his wife and her health. Prayers that they prayed in faith in spite of what they had been told. Time and time again, God would move and do a healing work in her body. Bro. Walker said that he was praying for a particular miracle. He made is request saying he believed God could do it, but also said, he wanted God's will above it all. God answered his prayer and granted his request. What God promises, He is able to perform. Faith works by Hope.  Bro. Walker then talked about the story of Abraham and Sara being promised a child. They had Faith it would come to pass. Eventually after much endurance and waiting and believing, God gave them a son. A while after God told Abraham to go to the mountain of Morah and offer his son as a sacrifice. He went by faith and believing with Hope that God was going to deliver his son. God did just that. He had hope against hope that a miracle would take place. Not every time when we walk in faith and have hope against hope, does what we are praying come with the result we want. We read in the Bible of Steven who was stoned to death. He chose to worship and Love the Lord regardless of what was taking place. He chose love over bitterness. Sometimes death comes and the miracle you wanted never happens the way you believed for. Does this mean you didn't have faith? NO! Your faith can continue to still be great and the miracle not take place. This does not mean that miracles do not happen. Sometimes the outcome we seek is not God's plan for us. We don't see as God sees. His ways are not our ways. James 1:2-4. Sometimes we take something to the alter, leave it there and we don't get it back. We don't always have the answer to everything, but we will see it clearly when we get to Heaven.  It's more important for our spiritual heart to be healed than our natural heart to be healed. There is a greater dimension of faith that carries each of us even when the result is not what we wanted.  We can say Lord I believe you; I know you love me, and I love you back. Some things I wanted and trusted you with, in the final end, didn't go the way I wanted. I still love you. I still believe in you. I will continue to walk and live in faith. The God of all the earth will do right.  We walk in faith, hope and love. Sometimes we see the miracles come to pass just as we prayed with faith believe. There are other times, when we pray with faith, hope against hope and the answer doesn't come as we believed for. We can walk in the dimension of God's love knowing He is with us through the times that cause hurt and pain in our lives. He is with you. He is for you. He loves you. He cares for you. Walk in faith, hope and love. God is good.
