There Will Be Glory After This

Image
Take a walk with me into a Bethel Sunday.  The Ethan Hagan Family was with us again and he preached a dynamic sermon. The Praise team was tapped in today. One song after another opened up the windows of heaven. Then it was like Bethel before the pandemic came. It was dancing and worshiping in freedom at the front of the church. People are going through it here in NY. Many went to the front and danced before the Lord and sang by faith that "he turned my mourning into dancing" Soon after this, Bro. Hagan came up to preach. You can watch/listen to the sermon  here.  He preached from Joel 2:28  on the topic of "There Will Be Glory After This".  What we read in the book of Joel has already been fulfilled on The Day of Pentecost. The spirit of God was poured out by evidence of speaking in other tongues and it still happens today. Jesus had died on the cross and then resurrected  from the dead. When the spirit of God was poured out it was the glory after this that was tal

Beyond Rhetorical Faith

Take a walk with me into a Bethel Sunday.  We had a guest Evangelist Bro. Hagan. He and his family are super nice and it was great that they were here with us. He preached such an amazing sermon. It goes hand in hand with what has been preached Sunday after Sunday.  Once again, RJ kept throwing side glances at me. He preached from Jeremiah 32:26-27 with the title of "Beyond Rhetorical Faith". You can watch/listen to  here .  It was a direct link to what we preached on having hope last Sunday.  You don't have to have a great deal of faith in your life, you just need faith. God is not looking for great faith, He is looking for mustard seed faith. If you can believe you can receive.  Is there anything too hard for God? No. There is nothing too hard for God. We need to go beyond rhetorical faith. Go beyond just what you know or think to be, but dig down deep and trust that God can do it.  Don't go by what you are seeing. Go by what God's word says. Step back and get

In The Midst of Lamentations

Take a walk with me into a Bethel Sunday. The worship was amazing. Then came time for the preaching. I have never heard Bro. Robert Martin preach before. I think it was the first time I have ever heard anyone preach from Lamentations. Bro. Martin preached from the third chapter of Lamentations. When I heard his title, I just shook my head and glanced over at RJ. He preached on "In The Midst Of Lamentations". This morning RJ made a comment about his middle name being Jeremiah and feeling like this time of our life was a time of Lamentations. So when I heard his title and text I glanced at RJ and we both just smiled. I knew at that moment, God had a special word for our direct situation. I am truly at a loss for words for the deep and powerful impact this sermon had on both of us. You can watch- view it  here.   We both walked out of the service filled with an abundance of hope for new beginnings in our hearts. Bro. Martin made a comment that if God has promised it, He will fu

Be Of Good Cheer

Take a walk with me into a Bethel Sunday. Bro. Victor Jackson has been here for a revival. Normally it would have been a Youth Concert, but due to COVID no concert this year. However, Bro. Jackson has been preaching with such insight. A lot of us have been dealing with some things.  On a more personal level on Friday night at the youth service it was as if he was talking directly to RJ. It helped RJ in such a great way. Church felt like full Bethel today.  The freedom of worship that swept all over the congregation, made my heart overflow with joy and thanksgiving. Bro. Jackson preached on "Be Of Good Cheer" from Mathew 14:22-33. You can listen/watch it  here . I urge you to watch this sermon! I took notes. He was speaking so quickly and under such an anointing that some of my sentences are not complete. Then mid sermon the tears streaming down my face made everything blurry. What he was preaching on hit so close to the mark to how this past year and half has been during thi
